2006 Finished Objects

Bree Scarf

Bree scarf – quick knit on large needles for when she was in hospital for broken pelvis, hit by drunk driver. She’s fine now.

Pattern – None. Cast on 10-12 stitches. Work in garter stitch changing yarn every 3 inches or so.

Yarn – Various novelty yarns.

Cost – probably $15

Subtle Cable Chemo Cap

Subtle cable chemo cap – for a friend of a friend, who has since passed away.

Pattern – My own, just fiddled with some cabling until I found something I liked. Available upon request – free.

Yarn – Rowan Cashsoft

Cost – don’t remember, probably about $25 (2+ skeins, I think)

Green Matador Bolero

Green matador bolero – quick knit for DD

Pattern – Knitscene Mag, Fall 2006

Yarn – Don’t remember, bulky boucle, mostly acrylic.

Cost – approx $30

K’s fingerless mitts

Fingerless mitts for friend at work who covered for me while I was at a conference.

Pattern – sort of a combo/mishmash. I think I started with the Interweave Knits pattern in Fall 2005?

Yarn – Cascade Fixation

Cost – maybe $10. One skein of variegated, just a few yards of the solid

Katie’s baby blanket (of course, mostly done in 2005) – finished in June
